  Indiana football had its second turnover generated after a mistake by Oregon quarterback Dante Moore, albeit this time with the running back bumping into him. On the recovering end of the fumble was IU's Mario Landino. Rush end Mikail Kamara called a breakout season for Landino in July in Las Vegas at Big Ten football media days.

If the return to work and school after the festive break wasn't tough enough, more snowfall overnight meant Monday's commute was even trickier for large parts of the UK.

Parts of northern Scotland were reporting over 50cm (20in) of lying snow, with drifting snow even deeper.

As temperatures dropped well below freezing again in most parts of the UK, icy conditions were an added challenge.

Despite the blocked roads, rail lines closures, cancelled flights and schools shut, BBC Weather Watchers have been out capturing the beauty and fun of the ongoing Arctic blast.

She was an amazing human being’: Mother identifies woman shot, killed by ICE agent

  Renee Nicole Good, 37, lived in Minneapolis with her partner just blocks from where she was shot. The woman shot and killed by an ICE agent in Minneapolis on Wednesday, Jan. 7, was identified by her mother as 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good. Good died just a few blocks from where she lived. A woman who answered the door at Good’s home declined to comment. Donna Ganger told the Minnesota Star Tribune that her daughter lived in the Twin Cities with her partner. Ganger said the family was notified of the death late Wednesday morning
